Dr. Loomis has extensive experience in federal planning, architecture, sustainability, and resilience planning with plans at a range of scales from strategic agency-wide plans to real property master plans to area development plans at installations/campuses worldwide to individual building projects with the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Institute of Science and Technology. She served as an advisor to the National Science Foundation for the rebuilding of McMurdo Station in Antarctica. Her designs can be linked to over 52 design awards. Dr. Loomis served in senior leadership positions with the largest federal facility and land holding agencies including the DoD, GSA, and DHS culminating as the Executive Director for the Coast Guard’s Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center responsible for over 40,000 facilities at over 2,000 sites as well as engineering, environmental, planning, real property, contracting, vehicles, and aids to navigation.
