Robert L. Easter, FAIA, NOMAC, is the retired Chair of the Department of Architecture at Hampton University and Founding Principal of KEi Architects in Richmond, Virginia. He has practiced architecture for more than four decades. A past President of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) and a past President of AIA-Virginia, his career spans practice, education, civic leadership, and international engagement, reflecting a lifelong commitment to mentorship, equity, and inclusive advancement. He was an organizing member of the VIA-VA JEDI committee and an ad hoc member of the JEDI committee of the AIA's Large Firm Round Table.

He currently serves on the Board of the National Architectural Accrediting Board. His service to the profession has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Whitney Young Award, the William Noland Medal, and the Marcellus Wright Award.
