Suping Li is the President and Co-founder of GARC LLC, a boutique Norfolk architecture studio recognized with the AIA Coastal Virginia Firm Award and named Hampton Roads Chamber Small Business of the Year. With over 25 years of experience, Suping has worked on projects ranging from cultural institutions and educational spaces to adaptive reuse and infill housing that brings new life to existing neighborhoods

Suping earned her BArch from Southeast University in China, with graduate studies at both the National University of Singapore and Northwestern University. Her award-winning designs have earned recognition from AIA chapters and other leading industry organizations.

Suping is passionate about enriching lives through design and making a positive community impact. A former member and chair of the City of Norfolk Architecture Review Board, she actively contributes to the local community through roles on HRACRE and CREW CoVA committees and the Downtown Norfolk Council Board.
