Speaker Bio
Prof. Lisa C. Henry has spent her life studying the intersection of gender, race, queer, and disability theory within architectural design, practice, and production. She received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The University of Utah and a Master of Architecture from Harvard University. Lisa was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah, College of Architecture + Planning in 2001 and received a promotion to associate professor in 2009. In 2019, She was appointed Interim Chair of the University of Utah's School of Architecture; She currently serve as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs for the College of Architecture + Planning and Interim Chair of the Division of Multi-Disciplinary design.
