Participants of this session will create drawings, make physical models, and deploy AI image generation to spark discussion and facilitate understanding about the potential of accessible design to generate more inclusive, multi-sensory architecture. 1) The session will begin with a brief presentation of exemplary projects. 2) The workshop itself will challenge participants to select an architectural element (stair, floor, wall, door), then work within ADA-compliant accessible design parameters to create tabletop models and AI renderings of more inclusive / broadly beneficial spatial elements. 3) The session will conclude with a guided discussion about the outcomes of the session and critical reflections on the workshop method of design learning.
