Tyler is a Project Architect at VMDO Architects, where he combines architectural design with a passion for sustainability to create high-performance K–12 schools that serve both students and the communities they support. His work explores how learning environments can actively cultivate environmental stewardship, using architecture as a tool for education and engagement. In collaboration with Iconograph, Tyler collaborates on building-integrated signage and graphics that make complex systems visible and accessible—turning everyday spaces into opportunities for discovery. He holds degrees in architecture from Virginia Tech and the University of Virginia, drawing inspiration from his rural Virginia upbringing, where a deep connection to the landscape and place continues to inform his work.
