Azubike (Zubi) Ononye is an award-winning computational designer and certified product manager with over a decade of experience in the AEC industry, including significant leadership roles. He founded Futurebreed, a consultancy that helps small to mid size architecture firms enhance their design and business capabilities through the strategic implementation of advanced computing. Previously, as the Director of Digital Technology at INFORM Studio, Zubi led the development of innovative tools and workflows that spurred business growth. His work on projects like the Van Leesten Memorial Bridge - Providence(RI) showcases his blend of technical prowess and strategic acumen, leveraging his proficiency in multiple programming languages. Zubi holds a Master's degree from Lawrence Technological University, where he also teaches as an adjunct professor, guiding new designers in leveraging technology as a collaborative partner in design. In 2022, He was named Associate of the year for his contribution to AIA Detroit’s computational design committee.
