Sandy Tkacz is the first to have served as HDR’s Regional Health Director for both the West and East Regions. As the East Region Health Director Sandy leads 10 healthcare design offices and founded the Richmond architecture practice. Sandy was the principal for the 1M SF VCU Health Adult Outpatient Pavilion. Known for her transparent and collaborative leadership style Sandy is an expert in the planning and design of innovative health environments with a passion for innovation strategies and collaborative solutions. With nearly 30 years of experience Sandy brings a broad national healthcare perspective to her leadership role and deep understanding of how to collaborate across expertise to deliver innovative healthcare facilities.
