Kathryn Slattery, AIA, LEED AP, NCARB, is a principal at Quinn Evans and operational director of the firm’s Washington, DC, office. With deep experience in visitor-focused projects for museum, zoo, and park clients including the National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution, and Mount Vernon, Katie embodies Quinn Evans’ commitment to the regeneration of existing places and the communities they serve.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Catholic University of America and a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan. She is a registered architect in four states and the District of Columbia. She most recently presented on Quinn Evans’ LEED Gold-certified renovation of the National Zoo’s historic Bird House at the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ annual meeting.
