We will revisit all the details and decisions that go into a renovation design project, while conducting an in person walking tour of our recently completed local renovation of Richmond’s very own Virginia Holocaust Museum (2022 – 2024). This 6,300 sf first floor renovation in the Shockoe Bottom historic district of Richmond, VA extensively renovates the visitor experience of an historic 1896 tobacco warehouse. We will also tour the second floor 1,170 sf Holographic Survivor’s Theater, which uses powerful AI to tell the story of one of the Richmond community’s holocaust survivors.
