Mohammad Ahmadshahi is an architectural design coordinator based in Arlington, Virginia. He has an extensive background in healthcare built environment research and the design of large-scale infrastructure buildings such as data centers, hospitals, and factories. Mohammad has an M.Arch and an M.S degree in healthcare design and his work has been mainly focused on the concepts of resilience, flexibility, prefabrication, and industrialized construction. Besides healthcare, he has been working on data center projects with HDR and has been involved in creating both conceptual and infrastructure construction solutions for big tech companies.

In his last competition work, he led a team of architects, mechanical engineers, and structural engineers in HDR to complete a design competition for a futuristic data center, implementing the concepts of decentralization, sustainability, space reuse, and community integration. This project was an attempt to define the data centers as an integrated part of future communities and a contributing components of the future urban developments.
