The VPM Media Corporation headquarters in downtown Richmond is a transformative space that redefines how architecture can support a public media mission. Designed by SMBW, the 55,000-square-foot facility blends transparency, accessibility, and community presence to create a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors. From its prominent street-facing façade with expansive glazing to its dynamic interior gathering spaces, the building reflects VPM’s commitment to civic engagement, education, and storytelling.
The tour will highlight key design elements that shape the user experience, including a branded, light-filled lobby, rooftop patio, and thoughtfully connected interior corridors.
