Event Policies

AIA Virginia allows attendees to cancel their ArchEx ‘24 registration at any time. However, canceling does not always equal a refund. Our refund policy is indicated below. If you cancel your conference registration on or before October 9, you will receive a refund of any fees paid, minus a 20% administrative fee. After October 9, registration, CE sessions, event tickets, and tour fees become non-refundable. All refunds must be processed by AIA Virginia by emailing: info@aiava.org.

All attendees are required to ride the transportation provided by AIA Virginia and prohibited from finding their own transportation to any tour site. ArchEx ‘24 presentations may not be shared on social media, photographed, recorded, or otherwise disseminated unless the speaker otherwise specifies. All presentations are assumed to be off the record. Attendees are expected to respect this policy and act accordingly.

AIA Virginia is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all meeting participants. All participants are expected to abide by the Code of Conduct. Unacceptable behavior includes (but is not limited to); harassment, intimidation, verbal abuse, discrimination in any form, disruption of presentations, or at other events held in conjunction with Architecture Exchange East. All participants must comply with the instructions of the moderator and any event staff. AIA Virginia reserves the right to take any action deemed necessary and appropriate, including immediate removal from the meeting, without warning or refund, in response to any incident of unacceptable behavior. 

ArchEx ‘24 is open to registered attendees, official guests, and registered exhibitors. Distribution or display of commercial literature is restricted to exhibits and may be distributed by participating exhibitors only. Unauthorized literature and signs are prohibited.

AIA Virginia will capture photos and video throughout the conference at various sessions, tours, and events. By participating in the conference, attendees grant permission to AIA Virginia representatives to take such photographs and video to be used in printed or electronic publications, websites, social media, or other communications without compensation.

AIA Virginia is not responsible for the loss of your personal articles or personal injury while attending the 37th Annual Conference & Design Expo or any related events.
